Geshe Yeshe Tobden - The vision of emptiness in the 4 Tibetan Buddhist schools
A fundamental point in Buddhism is that phenomena are devoid of inherent reality, they are "empty".
In this course the different articulations of this concept will be analyzed according to the four Buddhist schools, so that our mind will become more familiar with the vision of emptiness.
Furthermore, teachings on the mind of enlightenment are given from Shantideva's text "Bodhisattvaciariavatara".
Since the latter is the other fundamental point of Mahayana Buddhism, this is actually a comprehensive training course on aspects of the mind on the spiritual path.
Teaching recorded in 1995.
