Leaf tea. Once transported by land via the so-called “Tea and Horse Route”, Pu Erh tea is a specialty originally from Yunnan, China. It undergoes a unique manufacturing process, a prolonged microbial fermentation that gives it a full and sweet taste and the characteristic scent of undergrowth. Excellent with meals, paired with cured meats and cheeses, it is highly reputed in China as a tea with healthy properties.
