Leaf tea. The particular smoky aroma that characterizes it is obtained from a still artisanal drying of the tea leaves on fumigating bundles of resinous pine wood. The taste is strong and full-bodied, with little tannins. Perfect in combination with cheeses, smoked salmon, cold cuts, it becomes a surprise ingredient for unusual risottos, sauces, roasts.
