Author: Dalai Lama
The classical teaching of the Dalai Lama, that which comes from its original nature as a "simple monk", is kindness.
We all want it to be used, but when we, in the first person, perform a kind act, in that moment of grace we experience maximum satisfaction, we rise above any moodiness or stress. Not only that: we generate a chain of positive effects on us and on the people we love with the most authentic love. It can be a smile, a friendly gesture, an act of generosity: in any case, it means that we have forgotten ourselves to put the needs of others before ours. Be kind, whenever possible, the Dalai Lama tells us. And at any moment it is possible.
