Green Tara statue in gilded bronze.
Produced by Nepalese craftsmen with the lost wax casting technique and with ancient gold. The face, painted by hand, is covered with pure gold and embellished with turquoise and coral.

Green Tara is the enlightened female energy. Mother of all buddhas, she is the object of great devotion. The right hand is in the mudra of supreme generosity. The left hand to the heart holds, between the thumb and forefinger, the stem of the utpala flower which blooms at the height of its ear. It is called "La Rapida" because when it is called, it immediately comes to the aid of the practitioner.
