Without punishment or rewards
Author: Jean Philippe Faure
Conventional education has always been a prisoner of the punishment-reward binomial. The author proposes to get out of this scheme by following the principles of Non Violent Communication developed by Marshall Rosenberg. The motivations of children and young people, education in affectivity and self-discovery become the guidelines for a new educational pact. Teaching thus becomes a joyful exploration and real listening to the needs of the students and the teacher. Learning is no longer just a mental process, but involves the body, emotions and, of course, the heart.
