For a fearless death
Author: A. Desjardins
How does each of us face the inevitability of our own death? Death, perceived in Western culture as something foreign to life and dismissed as the 'extreme defeat of medicine', is actually part of life itself. Indeed, without a complete acceptance of death, there cannot be a life lived fully, Desjardins reiterated already in "The audacity to live". Conversely, the more one manages to live one's life consciously, the more the fear of death, both one's own and that of others, will vanish.
