Letter to a friend of Arya Nagarjuna - Commentary by Geshe Ciampa Ghiatso
This volume inaugurates a new series by Nalanda Edizioni dedicated to the Treasures of Wisdom of the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute.
In over 40 years, the Institute has not only been the largest Tibetan Buddhist study and practice center in Europe - thanks to its courses of study such as the Masters Program and Basic Program. In addition, he had the opportunity to host numerous Masters of extraordinary wisdom. A rare and precious opportunity for those who practice and for the preservation of a millenary tradition, today embodied by the teachings of His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama and attributable to the tradition of the Indian University of Nalanda.
Over the decades, the Archive of the Institute has preserved and cataloged - through audio and video files - all the precious teachings that have been given by the resident Masters and by the great Lamas who have honored us with their presence.
This immense heritage is now accessible thanks to a digital archive.
Gradually, thanks to our collaboration, it will become a series of volumes. The aim is to facilitate the study and practice, knowledge and development of one's human potential.
First volume of this series - The treasures of wisdom of the Lama Tsong Khapa Institute - could only be the publication of the teachings of one of the most beloved teachers of the center. We are talking about the one who with his presence has contributed enormously to the spread of the Dharma in our country: Geshe Jampa Gyatso.
La Letter to a friend by Nagarjuna is one of the most accessible texts of the great Indian pundit. Although it can be traced back a few centuries ago, it keeps its freshness intact. In fact, it is a text capable of speaking also to those who, like us, live in the frenzy of the contemporary world.
