Julia and the sequoia
In 1997 Julia Butterfly Hill, just 23 years old, managed to prevent the cutting of a large redwood forest in Northern California by remaining for 738 days perched 55 meters high in the branches of a sequoia. This story, freely inspired by that story, sees as the protagonist an equally courageous and determined girl: little Julia, who with the help of her two and four-legged friends manages to save her beloved sequoia. A message of hope addressed to all the boys and girls, future guardians of the planet. Age of reading: from 4 years.
