Jnana - Yoga
Author: Swami Vivekananda
In the eight years of his intense teaching life, from 1893 to 1901, Vivekananda collected his teachings in the four 'Books on Yoga', published here in two volumes, 'Jnana-Yoga' and 'Practical Yoga'. Jnana-yoga, the yoga of knowledge, teaches the divinity of man, the non-duality of divinity, the harmony of religions and the unity of all that exists. Practical yogas: Karma-yoga shows the way to perfection in the world for the active man; Bhakti-yoga teaches how to educate the passions to achieve a spiritual end; Raja-yoga teaches the practice of self-control, concentration and meditation.
